Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled student assistant to join our research project on anomaly detection in Wireless Sensor Nodes. The successful candidate will implement and compare state-of-the-art methods against our proprietary method, contributing to cutting-edge research in the field of sensor networks.
Responsibilities:
– Implement state-of-the-art anomaly detection algorithms in C/C++ and Python.
– Develop and test code on development boards such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
– Compare the performance of various algorithms and document the findings.
– Assist in data collection, processing, and labeling.
– Prepare and present progress reports to the research team.
Requirements:
– Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
– Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
– Experience with development boards like Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
– Knowledge of machine learning and data science techniques.
– Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
– Ability to work independently.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Previous experience in research projects or relevant coursework.
– Familiarity with time-series analysis is a plus.
